Bhavesh Joshi Superhero 2018 Bollywood Movie Review, Good And Bad things

Bhavesh Joshi Superhero is a 2018 Superhero movie directed by Vikramaditya Motwane, who is known for Udaan (2010), Lootera (2013), Sacred Games (2018). This movie stars Harshvaardhan Kapoor as Siku, Priyanshu Painyuli as Bhavesh Joshi, Nishikant Kamat as Rana, Ashish Verma as Rajat, and Chinmay Mandlekar as Sunil Jadhav as the lead cast. This was Harshvardhan Kapoor's second movie after the fantasy romantic Mirzya (2016).

The story of this movie revolves around a group of three friends ( Siku, Bhavesh, Rajat) in which siku and Bhavesh believe that they are the ones who can fight corruption on their own and they start their own website called "Insaaf TV", in which they posted videos of work they did to fight against corruption. After some years after doing Insaaf Siku gets tired and gets focused on his job, in which his boss offers him a promotion in US.

Bhavesh was getting more focused on Insaaf TV and got his hands on a case of a water scam, which he tries to uncover and unfortunately dies. After this incident, Siku becomes a masked vigilante to avenge Bhavesh's murder. However, it's decided to take revenge. soon turns into an innate desire to end corruption.

Harshvardhan Kapoor as siku shines in this movie and delivered his best performance so far, Priyanshu Painyuli also delivered a Sincere Performance as Bhavesh Joshi , Nishikant Kamat was brutal as Rana, Ashish Verma as Rajat and Shreiyah Sabharwal as Sneha was good and Pratap Phad as Patil was just brilliant, especially his dance in Chavanprash song was so entertaining.

As being a DC fanboy from childhood, I loved this movie. Camera work and cinematography are so beautiful, Specially the climax fight scene. I also loved the coloring of this movie. This was a perfect origin story to Bhavesh Joshi as a Superhero, I personally don't think if there's a sequel coming but I would love to see one.

Fight scenes were choreographed beautifully specially siku's training arc. The story arc of Bhavesh was also a good plot for the development of siku's character. The songs were decent in this movie. The movie could have been 10-15 min short as its middle part felt a bit dragged but was gripped. I also loved his Costume design. It's a dark-tone movie just like DC movies and that's why it worked for me as it doesn't have unnecessary comedy. This movie is one of the most underrated movies of all time. This one's highly recommended.
